Eventually, after crossing the National Park, we will arrive at the Sarapiquí area, a beautiful region in the northeast of the country known for its incredible natural wealth. Upon arrival, we will board a boat for a relaxing trip down the river, where we will search for rainforest animals such as monkeys, iguanas, birds, and many more.

After the boat ride, we will continue with a hike through the private trails of Selva Verde Eco Lodge, which are a paradise for nature enthusiasts, hikers, and plant lovers. There, we will be able to appreciate details such as ecosystems, plants, trees, wildlife, and much more. To conclude the tour, a delicious lunch will be served.

On the way back to San José, we will visit the famous rainforest aerial tram, where aboard a gondola, we will be able to observe the trees and nature in the company of a local naturalist guide.

The rainforest has a 475-hectare private reserve and shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park, which constitutes a buffer zone between the park and farmland.
