We will learn about the tradition, history, and culture of one of the world's best coffees; once the explanation is over, a delicious and traditional Costa Rican lunch awaits us.

Eventually, we will head to Grecia, a quiet and beautiful town dedicated to the farming of coffee and sugar cane, as well as textiles. Founded in 1838, it is considered one of the cleanest towns in Latin America. There, you can admire the famous metal church, unique in the country, which features a rare but beautiful Neo-Gothic architecture brought to the country from Europe in the last decade of the 19th century.

Next, we will head to the town of Sarchí, considered the cradle of craftsmanship in Costa Rica, where we will visit the oxcart factory to observe local artisans performing their finest painting and woodcarving. We will especially see the production of traditional oxcarts, splendidly decorated and in various sizes, which are appreciated worldwide for their incomparable beauty and design.

In this same town, we will visit the central park to see the world's largest oxcart, which proudly holds a place in the Guinness World Records. The oxcart was used to transport coffee, sugar cane, and wood—essentially serving as the primary means of transport in Costa Rica during the 19th and part of the 20th century. Considered a national symbol, you won't want to leave Costa Rica without one!

It is worth noting that during this part of the tour, we will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and, in general, the finest handiwork that only the artisans of Sarchí know how to craft.
